Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using IAS Neuron ("Service", "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Chintan Panchal ("we", "us", "our"), an Indian individual operating as IAS Neuron at iasneuron.com. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service.
  • By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
  • The Service is intended for use within India. Use from outside India is at your own risk and subject to local laws.

3. Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.
  • You must notify us immediately at chintanpanchal1990@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One person — one account. You may not share accounts or credentials.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and payments

  • Plans: Free (10 analyses/month), Aspirant (₹299/month, 100 analyses), Serious (₹799/month, unlimited). Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • Billing: Subscriptions are processed through Razorpay and billed at the start of each billing cycle. All payments are in INR.
  • Refund policy: No refunds are issued for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Price changes: We will give 30 days' notice by email before changing subscription prices.
  • Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us will result in immediate account suspension.

5. Permitted use

You may use IAS Neuron to:

  • Prepare for UPSC Civil Services and other competitive examinations
  • Analyse news articles, PDFs, images, and URLs for educational purposes
  • Access AI-generated study material, MCQs, and current affairs summaries

6. Prohibited use

You must not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Service to generate content that is false, defamatory, obscene, or illegal under Indian law
  • Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
  • Use automated scripts or bots to make API calls beyond your plan limits
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercialise the AI output without our written permission
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription limits through multiple accounts or other means
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code
  • Use the Service in any way that violates the IT Act 2000 or any applicable Indian law

7. AI-generated content

  • No guarantee of accuracy: AI-generated analysis, MCQs, and explanations may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. Do not rely solely on IAS Neuron for your examination preparation.
  • Not official advice: Content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or official UPSC guidance.
  • Ownership: You own the content you submit. We own the platform, prompts, and AI pipeline. AI output generated from your content is licensed to you for personal educational use.

8. Intellectual property

The IAS Neuron name, logo, interface design, prompts, and all original content on the platform are the intellectual property of Chintan Panchal. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

9. Service availability

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • We may perform maintenance with or without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IAS Neuron and Chintan Panchal shall not be liable for: (a) any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; (b) loss of data or profits; (c) errors in AI-generated content; (d) damages arising from your reliance on the Service for examination preparation.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms without prior notice.
  • On termination, your access to paid features ends immediately. Your personal data is handled as per our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.

13. Grievance redress

For any complaints or queries regarding the Service:

This is the designated Grievance Officer as required under IT Rules 2021.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email at least 7 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
